With so many devices in your daily life capable of charging from USB, the need to recharge them on the go has become more important than ever. The USB-C3C is an all-in-one universal USB smart mutli-charger designed specifically for your car. It’s able to charge most cell phones, tablets, USB battery packs, handheld game consoles, e-readers, e-cigarettes, cameras, smart watches, fitness trackers, bicycle lights, and more all while sitting neatly and securely tucked away in your vehicle’s cup holder.
To maximize device compatibility, each USB port is equipped with its own individual smart charging chipset that tries to identify the device connected and choose the best charging mechanism to provide the fastest charge possible. For some devices like the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus, they will charge faster connected to the C3C than with their bundled power adapters. Each USB port can charge a device at up to 2.4A with an impressive 7.2A, 36W total to share between all 3 ports. More than enough power to charge 3 power hungry tablets, such as iPads, at the same time.
The Plugable USB-C3C is a great upgrade especially for cases where:
- The car has only 1 or 2 USB charge ports.
- The car’s USB charge ports don’t have a smart charging chipset so that only some devices charge; or, like the iPhone, charge at a slower 1A rate when as much as 2.4A is possible. This is extremely common as most built-in USB charging ports are device specific or limited to 1A.
